Blog Name

Still Up for debate. Not totally convinced but definitely needed a change. Suggestions?

Summah Template

I figured I've gotten into a bit of a rut. Same routine day after day, with exception to this past weekend. Time to mix things up. I'm throwing a little summer flair into the mix. An ocean breeze if you will. You shouldn't have to look away in disgust when checking out my blog. So guess what? I did you a favor. It's sunny outside...It's sunny in my blogoshpere.

Keepin' that Summer Flow....

Keeping the city life flow going...

Saw this video on a friend's wall. Pretty funny and just another example of stupid laws and violations.

Foursquare hits 10mill? Oh yeah?

Cool Infrographic I found whilst perusing the web

Zombie Apocalypse complete w/research!

I'd just like to point out that the 3 types of zombies I outlined in my previous post Zombie Apocalypse were pretty damn accurate. I don't want to brag or anything but I hit the nail on the head. You give me 4 quadrants and I'm gonna give you 100% correct answers 100% of the time. Boom

Best Contest Ever!

I am a huge advocate of FourSquare. I've blogged about it before and slowly but surely I've seen a jump in my friends list from 0-12. So people are getting the picture. Check out this new contest that 7-11 is running. You can bet your ass that I'll be checking into every 7-11 and chuggin slurpees LIKE A BOSS.

Last year, @Astro_Wheels was the first foursquare user to check in from space. Like many of you, we were super jealous. So, when 7-Eleven and the crew behind the new movie Super 8 proposed a contest to send someone to space, we immediately rigged it so that we… um… agreed that it was a great idea.

So, if you’re in the United States, get your 7-Eleven check-ins ready. It’s a pretty awesome contest. There are over 21,000 prizes: Every 88th check-in wins free Super 8 movie tickets (it’s in theaters beginning June 10th), every 88,888th check-in gets a free Zero-G Experience. And, buckle up your space suits, because if there are over 888,888 check-ins in June, one lucky winner goes to Space! Space!!! (the full list and rules are at http://checkintospace.com; make sure you connect your account there to win prizes.)

You’ve got the whole month to win, so head over to your nearest 7-Eleven (there are nearly 7,000 of them) to get started!

Massachusetts Tornado

There was a Tornado in Massachusetts today 6/1/2011. Springfield, MA to be exact. Not some small town either. I had to look it up to be exact, but it's the 3rd largest city in MA. (Lowell is 4th) I remember people saying there was Tornado warnings in NY but I was stunned to hear that one actually touched down and people died from this. Yikes. If Frank didn't ask me to help move a friend into the city, I would've been driving through that storm. I wouldn't have been going through Springfield, but I-91 and I-84 are a stones throw away. I don't think the Neon is that tough.

UPDATE: Imagine being on the water or at a boathouse on that river? Holy crap

Singin' in the Subway

I was in the subway on the way to my interview today and I was jamming on my I-Pod. It got me thinking. What were the subways like in the 80s? Were people smoking like chimneys and blasting their boom-boxes? Was it really a common problem that signs had to be put in every subway car in NYC? Subways are so boring anyways. Why couldn't a guy blast Pour Some Sugar on Me for everyone to hear? What a bunch of buzz-kills.
